Clarence Knust, 96, of Ferdinand, passed away on Tuesday, April 29th at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville. Clarence was born November 4, 1928, in Ferdinand to John and Catherine (Burke) Knust. Clarence was a lifelong farmer. He enjoyed trucking and hauled cattle for many local farmers. Clarence was a Korean War Veteran. He was a member of St. Ferdinand Catholic Church and Ferdinand American Legion Post 124. Clarence is survived by a brother, Joe (Charolette) Knust of Jasper and a sister, Mary Krassick of Columbus, IN, many nieces and nephews. Clarence was preceded in death by two brothers, Ernest and Lenny Knust and a sister, Rita Begle. Funeral services will be Friday, May 2nd in St. Ferdinand Church at 11:00 AM, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Ferdinand American Legion Post 124 will conduct military graveside rights.
