Cole Joseph Bolte, 37, Kansas City, Missouri, formerly of Ferdinand, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, September 13, 2022. Cole was born October 30, 1984 in Huntingburg, Indiana to Mark and Mary (Hedinger) Bolte. He met Sabrina Sandeen on September 21, 2013, and they married on September 21, 2020, in downtown Las Vegas on Fremont Street. Cole graduated from Forest Park High School in 2003. He received a BFA from Herron School of Art and Design at IUPUI in 2007. He worked as a graphics coordinator at Huhtamaki. He was a homebrewer and a member of the Kansas City Bier Meisters. He was an avid fan of music and the arts, and a member of the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. Cole also enjoyed modern architecture and design, cooking, cars, NFL football, and travel (especially to the desert). Cole will be missed by his wife, Sabrina Sandeen of Kansas City; his parents, Mark and Mary Bolte of Ferdinand; his brothers, Jason and wife Barb of Bozeman, MT; Jarrod and wife Wendy of Denver, CO; Jesse and wife Pam of Huntingburg; sisters, Brooke Orth and husband Jeremy; and Autumn of Bristow; nieces and nephews Lila, Megan, Isabelle, Cooper, Grace, and Hudson; and maternal grandmother Elfrieda Hedinger. Cole was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Arthur and Mildred Bolte; maternal grandfather Herbert Hedinger; and a nephew Ben Bolte. A Celebration of Life open house will be held on Sunday, October 2, 2022 from 11:00 to 3:00 at the Mobel Room, Ferdinand Community Center. Memorial Contributions may be made to Bedtime in a Box or Nelson-Atkins Museum.
