Darl Foltz

Darl Lee Foltz, 77, of Ferdinand, passed away at his home on October 15, 2026.

Darl was born on December 23, 1948, in Conneaut, Ohio, to Ralph and Marion (Miner) Foltz.

Darl proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War from July 23, 1968, through May 4, 1971. In his younger years, he enjoyed horseback riding. He also enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors. Above all, Darl cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Darl is survived by his two sons, Brian Foltz of Jasper and Jason (Nicole) Foltz of Dale; five grandchildren, Victoria Foltz, Brandon (Jennifer) Foltz, Alyssa (Jacob) Foltz, Hunter Foltz, and Gunner Foltz; four great- grandchildren, Mason Foltz, Olivia Anderson, Cameron Foltz, and Harper Foltz; his sisters, Joyce Gillespie Singrey of Williamsfield, Ohio, and Nancy Gillespie Sutton Brown of Fanning Springs, Florida; and his beloved dog, Nanny.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, David Gillespie.

Services will be held at a later date.
