Gregory Gehlhausen

Gregory Gehlhausen, 76, of Santa Claus, passed away on Thursday, March 19th at Deaconess Memorial Hospital in Jasper. Gregory was born February 4, 1950 in Huntingburg to Jerome and Frieda (Giesler) Gehlhausen.

Greg was a dry-wall hanger for many years. He was an accomplished athlete for the Ferdinand Crusaders. He enjoyed pitching horseshoes, being outdoors and salmon fishing in Alaska.

Greg is survived by two brothers, Ronald (Mary) Gehlhausen of Huntingburg and Steven (Lynda) Gehlhausen of Ferdinand; three sisters, Donna Belkoski of Opelika, AL., Shelly Haidari of Ferdinand and Kanda (Randy) Wade of Santa Claus; brother in-law, Wayne Utley of Santa Claus. Greg was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Gayla Utley.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 24th at 11:00 AM ET in St. Ferdinand Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday at the church from 9 AM ET until time of services.
