Hilda Anna Davis, 84, of Mariah Hill, passed away, Saturday, June 20th at Scenic Hills Care Center in Ferdinand. Hilda was born January 28, 1931 in Jasper, to Otto and Florentina (Lindauer) Tretter. She married Paul Davis on October 15, 1955 in Huntingburg United Methodist Church. He preceded her in death on July 2, 1995. Hilda enjoyed quilting and traveling with her husband. She was a bank teller at First National Bank Huntingburg. Hilda is survived by a sister, Vernita Burgdorf and husband John of Huntingburg. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Hilda was preceded in death by a son, Steven Payne and a sister, Dorothy Nord. Funeral services will be Wednesday, at 10:00 AM CDT in Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church in Mariah Hill with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
