Janice Pund, 71, of Santa Claus, passed away on Sunday, March 14th at Memorial Hospital and Healthcare Center in Jasper. Janice was born April 30, 1949 in Huntingburg to Melvin and Esther (Waninger) Meyer. She married Robert Pund on October 17, 1970 in Ferdinand. She retired from Masterbrand after 28 years. Janice enjoyed being outdoors and reading. She is survived by her husband Robert Pund of Santa Claus; one son, Chad (Cheryl Hooper) Pund of Ferdinand; a daughter, Brandy (John) Verkamp of French Lick; one sister, Doris Bromm of Ft. Branch; three brothers, Jerome Meyer of Winslow, Bob (Bonnie) Meyer of Bristow and Ronald (Mary) Meyer of St. Meinrad; four grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren. Janice was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Marvin Meyer. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 24th at 11:00 AM at Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand.
