Judith A. Pund 59 of Ferdinand died Sunday April 17th at her home. She was born April 11, 1957 in Huntingburg to Wilfred & Bernice (Laake) Weyer. Judith was the Administrator at Northwood Retirement Community in Jasper for 10 years and was previously the Director Of Nursing for 20 years. She served on several boards of directors, including the State of Indiana Council on Ageing, Jasper Chamber Of Commerce, Board at St. Benedict Monastery, and The National Organization Board of Good Samaritan. She was a member of Saint Ferdinand Parish. Judith was preceded in death by her father, Wilfred Weyer. Survivors include, her husband Eric Pund, 3 sons, Brett (Allison) Pund of Jasper, Matt (Emily) Pund, and Andy Pund all of Ferdinand. One daughter, Laura Pund of Ferdinand. 2 grandchildren. Her mother Bernice Weyer of Ferdinand. 1 sister, Ruth (Howard) Lasher of Haubstadt, 3 brothers, Kurt (Brenda) Weyer, Chris (Donna) Weyer, & Glenn (Marcy) Weyer all of Ferdinand. A memorial mass will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday April 23rd in Monastery of Immaculate Conception Chapel. There will be no visitation, Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in St. Ferdinand Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Northwood Retirement Community in Jasper, or The Sisters of St. Benedict.
