Judy Kerstiens, 61, of St. Anthony, passed away, Tuesday, April 16th at her home. Judy was born February 28, 1958 in Huntingburg to Roman and Stella (Welp) Lubbers. She married Ralph Kerstiens on March 12, 1983 in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Judy worked at Kimball International. She was a Member of Divine Mercy Parish, St. Anthony of Padua Church, St. Anthony Christian Mothers and St. Anthony Legion Auxiliary. Judy enjoyed planting flowers, making crafts, spending time with family and going for motorcycle rides. Judy is survived by her husband, Ralph Kerstiens of St. Anthony; one son, Lucas (Alexandra) Kerstiens of St. Anthony; one daughter, Rachel Kerstiens and fiancé Tyler Mangiacapra both of Coxs Creek, KY; two brothers, Joe (Janet) Lubbers and Ronnie Lubbers all of St. Anthony; four sisters, Janet (Dave) Kluemper of Jasper, Ruth (Jim) Goepfrich and Jean (John) Weyer all of Ferdinand, Rhonda (Gary) Knust of St. Anthony; one grandson, Colt Kerstiens of St. Anthony. Judy was preceded in death by both her parents, Roman and Stella; a sister-in-law, Micheline Lubbers, and a sister, Joyce Lubbers in infancy. Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 23rd at 10:00 AM in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, St. Anthony. Visitation will be Monday from 2-8:00 PM at Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand and also on Tuesday from 9:00 AM until time of services at the church.
