Lauren Woebkenberg, 11 of Carmel passed away, Saturday, December 8th at her home. Lauren was born August 16, 2007 in Evansville to Ryan and Amy (Wetzel) Woebkenberg. Lauren was a student at Little Star Center in Carmel. She loved music, dancing, playing with her many toys, going for walks, swimming, spending time with family and her grandparents. Lauren was loved by everyone she met. She is survived by her parents, Ryan and Amy Woebkenberg of Carmel; a sister, Katherine Woebkenberg at home; her grandparents, George and Gail Wetzel of Santa Claus, David and Edna Woebkenberg of St. Henry; Great-Grandmother, Nellie Wetzel of Buffaloville. Funeral services will be Friday at 10:00 AM in St. Henry Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday at Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand from 4-8:00 PM and also Friday morning from 7-9:30 AM at the funeral home.
