Martha A. Rickelman, 83 of Ferdinand passed away surrounded by family on Tuesday September 17th at Scenic Hills Care Center in Ferdinand. Martha was born March 3, 1936 in Ferdinand to Prosper & Laura (Ruhe) Johanneman. She was united in marriage to Flavian "Flip" Rickelman on June 14, 1958 in Saint Ferdinand Catholic Church. Flavian preceded her in death on May 17, 2009. Martha was a member of Christ the King Parish, St. Ferdinand Church. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo, and going on bus trips. She was always happy spending time visiting family and friends, and especially being around her grandchildren. Surviving are one daughter, Laura (Keith) Tretter, two sons, Tony (Amy) Rickelman and Frank (Sandy) Rickelman all of Ferdinand. Six grandchildren, Lexie, Katie and Kamie Tretter, Max and Jake Rickelman and Ben Rickelman, 2 step-grandchildren, Brooke and Brandon Berg & one great-grandaughter Ella. A mass of Christian Burial will be at 9:00 AM Saturday September 21st in Saint Ferdinand Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
