Nancy M. Ringeman, 82, of Santa Claus, passed away, Friday, February 12, 2016 at Oakwood Health Campus in Tell City. Nancy was born July 5, 1933 to Henry and Dorothea (Wunder) Mather in New Orleans, LA. She married Lee A. Ringeman on May 1, 1954 in New Orleans, LA. Nancy was a homemaker who loved to cook and entertain for family and friends. She was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Santa Claus and was very active in the parish. Nancy was an avid Bridge player who also loved gardening and reading. Nancy is survived by her husband, Lee of Santa Claus; two daughters, Leanne (Dr. Joseph) LeClere of Tell City, Lisa (John) Haddow of New Orleans, LA.; three sons, Keith (Judy) Ringeman of Gotha FL., Greg (Barbara) Ringeman of West Palm Beach, FL. and Jared Ringeman of Port St. Lucie, FL.; one brother, Robert Henry (Harry) Mather of New Orleans, LA.; two sisters, Pat (Carl) Carlson of Canton, GA. and Dee (Larry) Muenzler of Baton Rouge LA.; nine grandchildren, Jason Ringeman, Lauren Knight, Steven LeClere, Kyli Ringeman, Kristen LeClere, Brett LeClere, Carson Haddow, Eli Haddow and Brianna Ringeman; four great-grandchildren, Ezra Knight, Ruby Knight, Brooks LeClere and Beau LeClere. Nancy was preceded in death by a brother, John Mather. Funeral services will be Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 11:00 AM CST in St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Santa Claus. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be at the church on Saturday from 9:00 AM CST until time of services. Father John Brosmer and Father Ralph Schipp will officiate. The family request that, in lieu of flowers, any memorial contributions be made to St. Nicholas Catholic Church or a favorite charity. Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand is handling all arrangements.
