Norida T. Hilgeman, 91, of Ferdinand, passed away April 18th at her home. Norida was born April 28, 1927 in Ferdinand to Robert and Marie K. (Uebelhor) Albert. She was united in marriage to Ellis Hilgeman on June 12, 1943 in Huntingburg. He preceded her in death on February 9, 1977. Norida worked at Huntingburg Wood Products & Styline for 28 years, and a volunteer for 23 years at many local nursing homes. She was a member of Huntingburg V.F.W. She enjoyed pinochle, playing cards, bingo and her flower garden. She loved being with her friends. Survivors include one son, Larry (Jayne) Hilgeman of Ferdinand, One daughter, Judy Hilgeman of Ferdinand. Grandchildren, Larry Hilgeman Jr., Christy Hilgeman, Mick Feldmeyer, and Chris Feldmeyer. Six great-grandchildren. One sister, Romilda Mayes of Louisville. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Fred, Robert Jr., Cletus, and Ivo Albert.
