Romilda "Millie" Oser, 80, of Ferdinand, passed away, Thursday, December 24, 2015, at 3:10 PM at Scenic Hills Care Center in Ferdinand. Romilda was born March 3, 1935 in St. Meinrad to Andrew and Agnes (Zoglman) Sitzman. Romilda is survived by three daughters, Deborah Conen of Huntingburg, Glenda Jones (Frank) of Terra Haute, Brenda Ferguson (David) of Dubois; one son, Alan Oser (Krista) of Ferdinand; one sister, Anna Kern of Jasper; seven grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and one step great-grandchild. Romilda was preceded in death by three grandchildren, Nichole, Nicholas and Kyle Jones; one sister, Rose Marie Pfeiffer; three brothers, Roman, Ronald and Daniel Sitzman. Romilda was a member of St. Ferdinand Parish. She enjoyed quilting, baking, telling jokes, bingo and being with her family and friends. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10:00 AM in St. Henry Catholic Church with burial to follow in St. Ferdinand Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 2-8:00 PM and Tuesday from 7-9:30 AM at Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand. Memorial contributions may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice.
